What is Frozen Embryo Transfer and Desynchronization in IVF?

Using a frozen embryo from a prior IVF cycle is recognized as a frozen embryo transfer or FET. It's becoming more popular as a result of its safety and high pregnancy success rates. A woman goes through the conventional IVF treatment, but instead of putting the nuclei back into the uterus in the same cycle, they are frozen and used in a later round. A lady has the option of freezing her eggs or using donor eggs. To help the woman recuperate from her current ivf package in Delhi and lessen the consequences of desynchronization, the eggs are transplanted in a later process.

  • Estrogen levels naturally peak soon before ovulation during the menstrual cycle. Ovulation is triggered by an increase in estrogen, which causes the ovaries to begin releasing progesterone. The endometrial lining of the uterus is then activated by progesterone.
  • A fertilized egg must implant in the endometrial lining and begin to expand for a pregnancy to develop. Because the body produces progesterone in response to ovulation, the endometrial lining develops appropriately to nurture the fertilized egg in ideal circumstances. The optimum environment for implantation is when the progesterone response and endometrial lining development are in sync.
  • During IVF treatment, the ovaries are stimulated, and estrogen levels peak at significantly higher levels than in regular cycles. This artificially generated estrogen peak triggers progesterone synthesis.

How Frozen Embryo Transfer Works With IVF

We can avoid desynchronization by using FET and delaying embryo transfer until a later cycle recognizes our hormones to return to average ere starting, which may increase our chances of converting pregnant. Embryos are conceived and frozen rather than embedded while the evidence is still improving from best fertility centre in Delhi. The sources are frozen and implanted once the body has recovered from the stress of IVF and has returned to a more regular cycle. Families who want to choose the gender of their kids can also employ this method. They may do so to guarantee that both sexes are represented equally or for any other purpose.

Frozen Embryo Transfer vs. Fresh Embryo Transfer

  • Fresh embryo transfer takes place during the same IVF cycle as IVF. In the lab, the eggs are extracted and fertilized. The embryos are allowed to mature before being returned to the woman's uterus 5-6 days after being removed.
  • A frozen embryo transfer is a unique procedure. A lady has IVF, her eggs are collected and fertilized in the lab, and the resulting embryos are allowed to develop in this round. Instead of being placed back into her uterus on day 5 or 6, the seeds are frozen.
